Booking Amsterdam Hotels
When it comes to booking your hotel stay in Amsterdam, take the time necessary to select the right amenities and to look at where the hotel is located. But, do not take too much time looking at these features or you may find your hotel choices rather limited. As tourism is one of the strong suits in the city, you will find many hotels that could be the perfect choice for you. Yet, waiting until the last minute can cause you to miss out on the best choices and the most affordable choices in these hotels. In other words, look but make a decision.
To help you to get the booking process done correctly, there are several key things that you will want to take into consideration when it comes to your hotel choice. First, consider the location. Is it near to the things that you need? Second, determine if the hotel offers the necessary and desirable amenities that you are looking for? Third, determine the cost. This can be a bit tricky though. Many times you will not learn the cost of the stay at the hotel until you get through the booking process. Yet, to avoid this, try looking for the right hotel on the web instead.
It is advisable to try and book your Amsterdam hotel as soon as you know that you will be traveling. If you wait too long, you may find yourself without the room or the choice locations to choose from. Nevertheless, it does pay off to do a bit of shopping around to learn about the right location with the most affordable choice. All in all, your trip to Amsterdam can be an amazing one but only if your choice of hotels is just that. Take the time to book ahead of time and save money and time.

Lenders Provide a Wealth of Auto Finance Alternatives
If you’re in the market to finance a new automobile, numerous lenders nationwide are currently competing for your business with a wealth of financing options at your disposal.
If you have excellent credit, the sky’s the limit in terms of how much financing you qualify for with interest rates that won’t cost you an arm and a leg. If your credit is good, you will likely qualify for most offers with competitive interest rates.
Before you choose an auto loan you should shop around for the best rates from direct lenders and then see if the auto dealership you plan to do business with has any comparable loans available.
Direct lenders are independent financial institutions that offer many different loan options. These include banks, credit unions and finance companies.
Many banks offer competitively priced consumer loans. Some banks also offer discounted loan rates to customers who have checking or savings accounts at these banks. If you’re eligible to join a local credit union you may qualify for even better deals on auto loans. Many credit unions are well known for offering low-priced loans for their members.
Finance companies are another excellent alternative. As many finance companies now finance exclusively online, their overhead costs are quite low. Low overhead costs for these companies can translate into lower interest rates for consumers.
If you’re approved for an auto loan make sure there is no obligation to take out the loan. Most lenders should be able to offer you a guaranteed loan rate that you can take or leave within a certain timeframe, such as a week.
You can save money at the dealership by having guaranteed financing before you even begin shopping for a new automobile. If the dealership knows you have guaranteed financing in hand, they’ll be more likely to negotiate with you in the hopes of making a quick sale.
Auto dealerships may also offer special financing for certain vehicles. Once you’ve successfully negotiated the price of the vehicle, ask if the dealership offers any special financing. The dealership may be able to offer you better financing terms than the guaranteed loan you walked in the door with.
You may also qualify for certain incentives including lower interest rate financing deals sponsored by the manufacturer.
Before you agree to receive any financing make sure you get a full disclosure in writing of all the fees, interest rate and any other terms and conditions that are associated with the loan. This way you can avoid any unpleasant financial surprises once you start paying off your loan.
Shopping around may take a little bit longer than simply going for the first auto loan you’re offered, but the savings will pay off and you’ll get a better deal in the long run. As an informed shopper, you’ll be a happier shopper.

Baby Products - Essential Baby Products, Which Ones Do I Really Need?
There are many essential baby products a new parent must purchase. Cribs, car seats, baby monitors, baby strollers, high chairs and clothing are all necessary to ensure your childs safety and comfort. However, there are many baby products out there that are not worth wasting your money on, but are marketed to parents as being vital for a babys growth and development. Parents always want the best for their child and therefore purchase these items that do not serve a great function. This guide reveals the important baby products a parent must obtain to properly care for their child.
Baby Strollers
The baby stroller is an item every parent must have for his or her child. Before you purchase a stroller, however, consider how you are going to use it and the money you are willing to spend. This makes the process of buying a stroller much easier. There are many types of strollers to choose from including: full-size, mid-size, lightweight, umbrella, jogger, double and triple baby strollers. Parents who do a lot walking should consider purchasing a full or mid size stroller, while active parents are better suited for the jogger stroller. Lightweight and umbrella strollers are appropriate for parents who travel around frequently because they are easy to stow away. Finally, double and triple strollers are made for parents who need to transport two or three young children in one stroller.
Baby Cribs
Babies spend the majority of their time in the crib. Therefore, every parent should invest a significant amount of energy in selecting a safe baby crib and mattress. Safe baby cribs must always have adjustable sides, the space between the crib bars must not exceed 2 and 3/8 of an inch, and the crib must be sturdy. The crib mattress has to be firm and fit properly into the crib because the baby can suffocate if this protocol is not followed. Baby bedding ought to be kept to a minimumone cotton fitted bed sheet and a light blanket will suffice. Never place pillows, toys or heavy blankets in your childs crib.
Baby Car Seats
A baby car seat is one of the essential baby products to purchase for your new child. The car seat protects the child against injury in the event of an accident. There are three main types of car seats available:
- Rearward-facing infant car seats
- Forward-facing baby car seats
- Booster car seats
The rearward facing baby car seats are used mostly for infants who do not exceed 29 pounds to support their neck, back and spine. The forward-facing car seats are perfect for children between 20 and 40 pounds and should be secured with a tether strap on the car frame. Lastly, booster seats are made for children who can no longer fit into a normal child car seat. The booster seat basically lifts the child so they can use a regular seat belt properly. In addition, always remember all child car seats must be placed in the rear of the car away from airbags.
Baby High Chairs
A high chair is one of the baby products a parent doesnt need right after the infant arrives home from the hospital. Although, once your child can independently sit upright a baby high chair becomes a necessity at mealtimes. Wooden, conventional, adjustable and booster high chairs are just some of the styles on the market. Regardless of the model you choose make sure your highchair has the following features:
- The high chair must have two support strapsone should be around the waist and the other must be between the childs legs.
- All baby high chairs must have trays that lock firmly into the chair.
- The legs of the high chair should be spaced apart in order to properly anchor it to the ground and prevent tipping.
Baby Clothes
Baby clothes are one of the obvious baby products a parent must buy. Keep in mind when shopping for clothes to purchase outfits that are functional for you and the baby. For instance, try to choose clothes that are not complicated to get off come changing time. Also, purchase clothing that is appropriate for the season your child is going to be born in. This step prevents you from buying clothing that is not necessary for your babys immediate needs. When selecting baby clothes hand me downs are a good way to go because babies grow at such a rapid pace. Hand me downs save you a lot of money and usually come in very good condition. Never buy second hand clothing that is worn out because it could potentially rip posing a safety hazard to your baby.
Baby Monitors
Baby monitors help parents keep a watchful eye on their little one without having to be in the same room all the time. This enables parents to multi-task without jeopardizing their childs safety. Over the years there have been many technological advances in the baby monitor realm. Sound monitors are still the most extensively used ones, but now visual, temperature, movement and breathing monitors are becoming more common. Visual (or TV) monitors are great for parents who want to see what baby is up to at all times. These monitors are quite expensive, but can later be converted into a security system. Temperature and breathing monitors are useful for parents who are concerned about their childs health. These monitors inform parents of the temperature in the babys room and whether it is too hot or cold.
Other Useful Items
Besides the aforementioned baby products there are many other small items a new parent needs to purchase for their child. Diapers, pacifiers, bottles, shampoo, soap, bottle warmers, a diaper pail and travel bags are just some of the baby products required. When purchasing baby products always stick to these basic items - do not get sidetracked by gimmicks. Before buying a product always ask yourself the question: Do I really need this for my babys well-being? Good luck with all the shopping!

Answers To Money And Shopping Questions While Cruising Europe
Money matters can be confusing when traveling but maybe this article will help you out.
We always take lots of single and five dollar bills with us on every cruise. They come in handy for taxis, tips for tour guides, tips for the staff, and little souvenirs at craft shops. They are handy if you run across a bartender on the ship that is really treating you well.
Europe has now changed to the Euro in many countries making it easier to travel from country to country. The countries that are now using that currency are: Austria, Belgium, Finland, France, Germany, Greece, Holland, Ireland, Italy, Luxembourg, Portugal, Spain, Andorra, Monaco, San Marino, The Vatican, Martinique, Guadalupe, Montenegro, and Kosovo.
Thanks to the miracle of the ATM machine, it is now easier that ever to get money in foreign countries. Use your ATM card in the machine to get the appropriate amount of money for the days you will be in each country. This eliminates carrying lots of Travelers Checks but take a few in case of emergencies. Never carry big wads of money no matter where you travel. It makes you an instant target.
Always keep in mind that you will be unable to reconvert coins so spend them liberally. It will be necessary to know the exchange rate so you can figure out how much you will need. If you are doing a cruise in the British Isles you may make three stops in Ireland so plan for three days of the local currency if you dont want to keep finding an ATM machine.
If you are cruising around the Caribbean, every merchant takes dollars and credit cards, I recommend using Credit Cards. If you dont use the above suggestion about using the ATMs the ship will provide a service to change dollars into Euros or any other currency necessary. You should have some of the local money for buying small items such as soft drinks or a snacks, tips or local craft items. Any other purchases should be charged to your credit card because this protects you if there is something wrong with the item or it is not what it is purported to be.
The very best way to find out where the good shopping is, ask the crew. Some of the shops actually sponsor the cruise lines shopping lectures. The cruise lines will receive a commission from the stores they recommend. Its a great big commercial to a captured audience, but if there is a problem the cruise lines will stick to their policy and get you a refund. So its a matter of comfort level, go on your own if you think you are savvy enough or go with the cruise lines recommendation to be safe.
The days at sea the cruise the ships boutiques will have sales so wait until then to see if what you want has been reduced.
If you know what you want to buy when you are cruising, check out the costs at home before you go, including the discount stores. Sometimes you can get a better deal at home with the comfort of knowing its returnable if it is defective.
If you buy perfume open the sealed box before you leave port to make sure the perfume has not evaporated. At one of the islands we visited I purchased some perfume and just out of curiosity opened it when we returned to the ship. The seal was still it tact but the bottle was three quarters empty. Since we were still in port I was able to return it to the store for another bottle.
Id like to add just a word on traveling to different ports everyday and credit cards. When we were traveling in Europe I purchased several things in different ports on different days. By the third day the credit card company would no longer honor my card because they were suspicious of theft. For that reason, I always carry two credit cards and make sure both companies know I will be traveling extensively. This is a very good tip to know.
Follow this money and shopping advice and you should get along fine no matter which country you visit. Happy Cruising.

Downtown Atlanta Apartments
Downtown apartments in Atlanta are a recent addition to the downtown area’s lodging options. Downtown Atlanta, the central business district of the city of Atlanta, maintains furnished and unfurnished apartments that are convenient for business travelers, relocated employees, and those in a transit stage of building a house.
For many years, downtown Atlanta was only a business center. The Summer Olympics in 1996, and the major revitalization campaigns have imparted a modern look to this region. Downtown Atlanta has undergone many renovations and modifications to maintain its attractiveness. Many housing facilities were added in the consecutive years, and it has become the location for a number of skyscraper apartments.
Downtown apartments are specifically designed to support the city’s new retail businesses and cultural ventures, and they add style and elegance to the streets. Almost all apartments are located close to deluxe hotels and state-of-the-art conference centers. Luxury apartments are recent additions to this downtown area. Apartments catering to individual preferences such as price, location, nearby school districts, nearby shopping areas, restaurants, churches, pools, and exercise facilities can be selected.
Apartments are built in garden-style and town-home floor plans, with attractive facilities and amenities. Furnished and luxurious apartments are equipped with facilities such as air conditioning, balconies, fireplaces, and high-speed internet.
Rental apartments are accommodation options fit for any budget and lifestyle. Studies reveal that the market for downtown apartments has increased in recent months, with more people opting to stay in apartments rather than individual houses.
Downtown has both new and renovated apartments for rent and for sale. You can select from private or public-private partnership apartments, which are available with varying sizes and rental rates. Centennial Place, City Plaza, and Lofts at Muses are some of the downtown Atlanta apartments.
Atlanta Apartments provides detailed information on Atlanta Apartments, Loft Atlanta Apartments, Atlanta Apartment Rentals, Cheap Atlanta Apartments and more. Atlanta Apartments is affiliated with Apartments for Rent in Chicago.

How To Not Blow Your Budget This Christmas.
Every year thousands of families make a fresh decision to start living by a budget. They set up accounts on their home computer, begin to track everything they spend and set limits designed to help them save more and spend less.
Gwen Mathews is the Mother/Chief Accountant in one of these new budget conscious families. She and her husband Pete set up some ambitious financial plans with the goal of paying off their credit card debt. They split their family income up into categories and were doing just great. That is until the holiday season came along.
As Gwen scanned the family Christmas list she realized that the ‘gift giving category’ her and Pete had agreed to early in the year wasn’t going to cut it.
Pete, Gwen and their three children sat down after dinner that night and laid out the situation. Christmas was a month away and the budget was clearly not going to buy the family the kind of presents that they were used to. They needed to make some decision together as a family. What did they want more? Expensive Christmas gifts or a shrunken credit card balance?
The secret to keeping a budget during the holidays is to:
A. Have a clear vision of your priorities. Remind yourself and your entire family of the reasons you had for getting on a budget in the first place.
B. Make a complete gift shopping list and then prioritize it according to your relationship with that person. Immediate family comes first, extended family, friends, co-workers, etc. Start at the bottom and cross off any names that absolutely don’t need to be there - then assign a portion of your budget to each of the remaining names.
C. Get creative with your gift giving. A day in the kitchen with the oven at 350 degrees will take care of a lot of people on your shopping list. A plate of home made Christmas cookies is a welcome and touching gift.
D. Give up keeping up with the neighbors. The surest path to a blown budget is to start comparing what you’re doing with what someone else is doing. Remember, they’ll likely be crying come January.
E. Don’t start shopping too early. Many a Mom has spent their entire holiday budget before Thanksgiving thinking she’s a smart cookie to get it all out of the way. Then the Christmas sales kick in and she’s kicking herself and thinking ‘Well I can spend just a little bit more can’t I?”.
F. Final rule: No impulse buying. If someone gives you an unexpected gift, it doesn’t mean you have to run out and buy them something - that’s what ‘Thank You’ is for.
By keeping their goals in mind and recruiting the support of their children, Pete and Gwen survived the holidays within their budget. As their gift to each other they wrote an extra payment to the credit card company. If they keep that up, they’ll be celebrating a debt free Christmas next year.
